Automation in the egg room

1 min read published on 7 January 2025

France - Introducing the Moison family, layer farmers from France, who introduced automation in their egg room with the Prinzen Speedpack and Palletiser 110.

The Palletiser 110 greatly reduces the tiring work of handling stacks of trays, and pleasantly improves the daily egg collecting work. Operating independently, it connects with any suitable type of farm packer, in the case of family Moison the Speedpack. This packer is handling and packing eggs quickly yet carefully on 30 cell trays. The packer consists of only three transfer points which ensures optimum egg handling. Thanks to the compact design, it gives a complete overview of the entire egg packing process.

Anne Laure Moison shares: “I used to have a lifting table, I had to carry each stack of trays, which hurt my back. That's why I definitely wanted to apply automation. With the Palletiser 110, trays are automatically stacked on the pallet, so I no longer have to lift the eggs myself.”

With their previous packer from another brand, they collected 20,000 eggs per hour, but now, with the new Speedpack, they can gather more than 40,000 eggs per hour. The high level of automation and reliability set the right conditions for a perfect packaging job.

Vincent Moison adds: “The new packer does its job very well and saves us an incredible amount of time. Collecting eggs is really much faster now, I almost halved my collection time. Maintenance is also easy, it is a simple and robust machine. I’m very pleased with the Speedpack and Palletiser. They save a tremendous amount of time and operate very comfortably.”

If they encounter problems, they experience the service from Vencomatic Group France. Anne Laure Moison: “We can always call them and they help us out, even if we have a small problem. It is top”
