Jump Start

This unique porch system incorporates winchable feed and drink lines, and hinge able platforms to train the birds from day one. Day-old chicks are placed on a slatted surface which gives direct access to feed and water.

Excellent training

Hens reared in the Jump Start have had excellent training and will find their way in any aviary house. Based on natural bird behaviour, the birds learn to jump and also learn to use the perches. The Jump Start can be made to fit any rearing house. The porch system makes the layout independent of the building and makes the feed, drinking and platform layout flexible to configure. As birds grow, the difference between feeding and drinking levels gradually increases so the birds learn to jump to different levels and perches.
