Genus Focus offers contactless sex classification within the egg by day 12 of embryonic development. It accurately categorizes eggs as female, male, or clear, suitable for all egg colors and poultry breeds, with no impact on hatchability. Plus, its full automation requires just one operator to operate.
The Genus Focus revolutionizes egg sexing by scanning and classifying in a non-invasive (contactless) way. Utilizing AI-powered MRI technology, each module can scan 3,000 eggs per hour, scalable up to 8 modules for a combined throughput of 24,000 eggs per hour. This innovative solution ensures safety as it does not emit ionizing radiation, preserving embryo development.
Strategic Business Development Manager
From reducing labour to increasing predictability; the Genus Focus brings new levels of automation and efficiency to the hatchery of Pluriton (NL). The team shares how it has redefined their day-to-day operations.
“I'm most proud of the fact that on our first day of production, we literally placed two folding chairs in front of the line, sat down and just watched it run. And seeing that every single box has had all its chicks successfully hatch - I'm like WOW!”
