X-Treck

The most labour friendly method to make on-farm hatching in floor housing possible; creating the ideal circumstances during all phases of the hatching period. No need to transport chicks anymore. The X-Treck gives just hatched broilers direct access to feed and water, boosting their health and immune system and makes them more robust resulting in better performance.

Barn born chickens

The setter trays with 18 day-incubated eggs are placed on a rail system. This rail system is suspended and positioned freely in the air, ensuring an optimal airflow surrounding the eggs during hatching. By controlling the systems’ height with a winching system, the farm manager has an easy-to-use tool to control the airflow and temperature of the hatching eggs. On incubation day 19 and 20, the chicks hatch in the house and have immediate access to feed and water. The X-Treck also has a (semi-) automatic food solution.

You can see the chicks hatch and that's wonderful

Jan Quirijnen (55) from Lage Mierde keeps broilers, 76,800 slow-growing chickens in three houses. Jan has extensively tested systems and products for the hatching of chicks in the house. In the end he chose X-Treck because this system is, in his opinion, the most complete.

"Because the eggs hatch in the house, the chicks don't experience stress from abstinence from food and water like in a hatchery and during transport from the hatchery to the house."
