The construction of the Van Gent Nest is solid and simple, which makes it easy to assemble and clean. The nest is provided with an automated expulsion system, making sure the birds are not in the nest after laying and during the night. It also prevents broodiness and soiling the nest. The wooden nest is made from film coated marine grade plywood, which withstands any climate for many years.

The eggs are automatically collected and transported safely with a central egg belt, resulting in easy egg collection.
